What makes this Steepy different than a regular teapot?

Most teapots either use a built-in strainer that's fiddly to clean, or require a separate infuser basket. The Steepy jug keeps it simple - loose leaf tea brews directly inside, then you pour through the integrated filter. No bags, no extra tools, no mess. Just full-flavour tea from start to finish.

How do I brew with it - any technique?

Add your loose leaf tea, pour hot water at the right temperature for your tea type, and let it steep for the recommended time. Then pour directly - the filter does the work.That's genuinely it. No strainer juggling, no soggy bags sitting on the side.

Whats wrong with my teabags?

Nothing at all - unless you’d rather avoid the thousands of microplastics that can come with standard tea bags.

How much tea does it make?

The Steepy jug holds enough for 2–3 generous cups - perfect for a solo brew session or sharing with someone. It's designed for everyday use, not one-sip ceremonies.

What teas can I use with it?

Any loose leaf tea works beautifully; green, white, oolong, black, herbal, or floral blends. The filter is fine enough to catch even small-leaf varieties and flower petals. If you can brew it, Steepy handles it.

How do I clean it?

Rinse the used leaves out, give the jug a quick wash with warm soapy water, and it's ready for the next brew.The filter doesn't trap residue the way mesh baskets can, so cleaning takes about 30 seconds. Not dishwasher recommended, but it rarely needs more than a rinse.

How long does delivery take?

UK orders are dispatched within 1 - 2 business days and typically arrive within3–5 working days.

What if it arrives damaged?

It shouldn't happen, but if it does - we'll sort it immediately. Just email us with a photo and we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund, no questions asked.
